Description
Controls Engineer programming and standards development. Provide standardization concepts, development, rollout/deployment, and support guidance to the hardware and software teams onsite.
Responsibilities
- Controls and standardization concepts and development;
- Controls network design and architecture;
- Industrial Safe Controls software development-adhere to government regulations and requirements;
- Enterprise and middleware software development to support customers’ reporting needs;
- Rollout standard concepts to the plant installations;
- Robot and PLC programming deployment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5 years work experience requested in Controls Engineering.
Alternate acceptable education and/or work experience requirement: 10 years’ experience in Controls Engineering or PLC programming in the Automotive industry required if applicant does not have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Demonstrated understanding of plant floor work
General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
Prior work experience as a controls engineer in the automotive field.
Knowledge of INTEGRA architecture (desirable).
